Booking, Cancellation & Onboard Policy

At My Como Boat Tours, we want every experience on Lake Como to feel relaxed, safe, and memorable. Please read the following booking, cancellation, weather, and onboard rules before confirming your tour.

Booking requests and deposit

When you submit a preferred date and time, this is a booking request and does not yet confirm your tour.

We will contact you to confirm availability, clarify the details of your experience, and arrange the deposit payment.

Your selected time slot is held only until the end of the day on which we send the deposit request. If the deposit is not received on the same day, the requested slot will automatically be released and may be booked by other guests.

If you would still like to book after this time, please contact us first to confirm that the slot is still available.

2

Cancellation policy

• For most tours, you may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

• For tours of 2 hours or longer, free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

• Cancellations received after the applicable free-cancellation deadline may result in the loss of the deposit.

• If you need to cancel or make a change, please contact us as soon as possible.

3

Weather cancellations

The safety of our guests and crew always comes first.

Tours may be cancelled, postponed, shortened, or adjusted in the event of unsafe weather conditions, including strong wind or heavy rain.

The final decision regarding weather and lake conditions is made by the skipper. If we need to cancel a tour because conditions are unsafe, we will do our best to offer an alternative time or date, subject to availability. If rescheduling is not possible, the deposit will be refunded.

4

Shared-tour age policy

Shared tours are generally suitable for guests aged 12 and over.

In some cases, exceptions may be considered. Please contact us before booking if a guest is under 12 years old, so we can discuss the best and safest option for your group.

All guests will be kindly asked to remove their shoes before boarding.

This helps protect the boat and keeps the onboard space clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone.

7

Boarding and mobility

Boarding may be more challenging for guests with reduced mobility or certain physical conditions.

If you, or someone in your group, has limited mobility or requires assistance, please contact us before booking. We will be happy to explain the boarding process and discuss whether the selected boat and tour are suitable.

Safety and skipper instructions

For everyone’s safety, guests must follow the skipper’s instructions at all times.

Swimming stops are subject to weather conditions, lake traffic, local rules, and the skipper’s safety assessment. Jumping from bridges or unsafe locations is not permitted.

In particular, jumping from the Ponte della Civera bridge in Nesso is prohibited. Guests may still enjoy the waterfall and bridge from the boat or swim only where and when permitted by the skipper and local conditions.
